iCapital Introduces Ledger Technology
Furthering its plan to make alternative investments more accessible to advisors , alternative investment platform iCapital has introduced distributed ledger technology ( DLT ). This sort of technology , of which blockchain is the most famous form , synchronizes data from multiple sites or nodes .
Distributed ledger technology uses ledgers on separate , connected devices in a network . It securely stores data to ensure that it is unaltered , transparent , synchronized and accurate , the firm says . It will simplify and enhance the entire fund management experience for all involved from advisors to investors to transfer agents , as well as custodians , general partners and others .
Through the system , different parties can share information and consolidate the different processes that occur throughout the life of a fund so they can all take place through one point , iCapital says .
Snappy Kraken Launches Marketing Tool
Snappy Kraken , a marketing technology firm for financial advisors , launched a new marketing intelligence tool : the Marketing Hub . The product will combine content , communication , and contact activity into one intuitive interface .
The hub demonstrates to advisors what they need to do to build stronger client relationships . One feature , for instance , the “ Opportunity Feed ,” collects and prioritizes lead activity and highlights the most engaged client prospects .
Another feature , the Marketing Calendar , lets advisors see their scheduled and published content across various channels , which allows them to plan their marketing strategy . Finally , the Marketing Insights Dashboard shows advisors the types of content and channels that are generating the highest interest .
Fidelity Platform Adds Features With Envestnet Help
Fidelity Investments has announced new enhancements to its wealth management platform , Fidelity Managed Account Xchange ( FMAX ), that it will be making over the next 18 months in partnership with wealth management software provider Envestnet .
The FMAX enhancements , which aim to make the platform more holistic , fall under three distinct categories . First , the firms will introduce a series of overlays advisors can implement with their portfolios to make them more tax efficient . Second , advisors will be able to better customize the model portfolios that Fidelity provides .
The third enhancement is that the platform will now incorporate Envestnet ’ s Insurance Exchange , which gives advisors access to annuities and insurance products . Future enhancements will roll out later this year .
StepStone Introduces Private Credit Income Fund
StepStone Private Wealth has launched the StepStone Private Credit Income Fund ( CRDEX ), an evergreen interval fund that offers investors exposure to a diversified , open-architecture portfolio of private credit assets in one investment .
The goal of the fund is to obtain current income and long-term capital appreciation by investing in different credit-related strategies .
The StepStone Private Debt team will invest the fund ’ s capital .
The fund will raise capital daily and provide liquidity through quarterly redemptions of 5 % of the fund ’ s net asset value . The fund ’ s minimum investment is $ 25,000 , and it offers a variety of share classes .
Tremblant Capital Launches First-Ever ETF
Global public equity investment firm Tremblant Capital has launched its first-ever exchange-traded fund and is banking on its reputation for thorough research in selecting stocks to stand out in an already crowded field .
The Tremblant Global ETF ( TOGA ), which will trade on the New York Stock

Among the new tools will be a onestop client portal allowing investors to look at their account information with different custodians . There is also a cloud-data platform that wealth management firms can use to manage large , multi-custodian data .
Finally , the firm is offering improvements to help save advisors time . Advisors will be able to move seamlessly from researching investment products to ensuring these products match up with client risk objectives and then incorporate these investments into a portfolio .
